Did he send you a shipping label to return your 249 and was there a refundable core charge or is $900 the final price.(Not that its a bad price but ..........you know..)
What he basiclly does is rips the guts out of a 249 and stuffs the internals of a 242 into the case of the 249. this way it is a direct bolt in with modifcation. 900 is the whole deal, he does not charge for a core, and all shipping is included in price. once you are done with the swap you call him tell him you need a return slip he sets up pick up and your done. the guy is awesome and is really trusting(being for ny.) does not cash you check until you have a tracking number and does not really care how long it takes to do the swap.
for all interested I suggest you do bussiness with this guy:grin:

Does anybody know if the NV241OR (Rock-Trac) TC from the Rubicon would fit in a WJ? That would be awesome - the 4:1 is really great......

I am pretty sure someone on JU did it to a 5.9 but JU is down
so I couldnt check..
I have also read somewhere about the 241 but I dont remember if
It was possible or just someone dreaming..

Hmm, my 84K20 does the bucking and jumping in 4wd, but I have my 93 ZJ now with a 249, and I can turn full lock on the sweering wheel and there is no jumping or bucking....
