A/C vent temp

How well does a 94 GC Air conditioner cool or are these systems poor at best? I just purchased the jeep and it is 92 degrees outside and at an idle vent temp is 60 degrees. It will cool well on the highway but I live in the city. There is a full charge of 134a in the system. I am curious if the last owner let some air in the system or the compressor is getting weak?

My Haynes manual says A/C systems should cool somewhere between 30 and 50 degrees cooler than the ambiant air temp. So In your case I think you are right in there.
Just consider yourself one of the lucky ones...you aren't leaking from the evap, a $1000 fix!

Trying to improve the temps. Does the newer GC electric fans cool any better. Can they be installed in to an older GC? Or is there an even better aftermarket fan setup?
