Buying a another heep tomorrow, rough idle?

tomorrow I'm picking up a 5.2 97 limited with 135k miles on it. 1000$

I miss my old jeep sold it


Quick question, slight rough idle. When I rev it up to 2-3k rpm and let off the pedal it stumbles it's way down kind of. Not terrible but noticeable. What sensor would cause this? I'll def be doing a tune up to start

on the 4.0, I would say IAC and/or TPS... also cleaning the throttle body / fuel injectors... did all of that on mine.

Yea I'll go down the list of cleaning all that crap haha. I'm so excited. I missed my jeep. This one will be alittle rougher inside but the outside and mileage is much better on this one. It was in floridia for awhile too. Body has no rust at all rockers and behind the front tires is all nice and rust free lol

Do the plenum gasket. Replace the cap, rotor, cables and plugs.

Pull all the sensors from the TB and thoroughly clean the TB while it's off. Clean the IAC plunger, being sure not to disturb it. Reset the computer and go from there.

First things first is I'm fixing the brakes lol no brake pedal at all no leaks but the brakes are shot in back. So I'm going to do all the brakes and bleed and see if I can fix that without doing the master cyl. Then yeah I'll do the plenum gasket and all the other stuff.
