Bumper light mounts

Recently got a set of kc lights that is was planning on mounting on a hoop bar to my bumper, turns out the hoop they sent me( that they said would fit my 95) is not for a grand cherokee at all. I've looked around everywhere to find one that would fit but it just seems like nobody makes them. So I have a few questions... How did you mount your lights to your bumper?? Any references on bumper mounted hoop bars? Companies that make them? If you have any pictures of your custom mount job would be appreciated..

I'm not totally sure what you mean by hoop bar. Do you have a picture as an example?

If you don't have the factory fogs you can grab the brackets from a JY ZJ and use them to mount lights, or just make something that uses those holes in the front x-member. Other common places are on the a-pillars (my favorite) or on the roof by a custom crossbar.

If you remove the front bumper cover there is nothing to mount a hoop to or lights etc. just the plastic with styrofoam on the inside.

You would have to create brackets to extend out from the steel inner bumper to support it. I'm planning to mount a receiver hitch across the front of mine tied back into the frame rails and have considered making a hoop for the stock front bumper.

Ah, yes there isn't a good place to mount a stinger hoop on a stock grand. You could go with a bull bar (****) or you could look at on of the aftermarket bumper options.
