Tip to everybody look where a hacked up the unibody in these pictures. Don't waste you're time like I did earlier in this thread trying to cut and reweld the front of the unibody. It is plenty strong enough still just make sure you leave a small lip at the top to keep some strength.

I got the holes drilled and the nuts inside the unibody welded in so I can now mount bumper.
We're geting a smittybuilt 10000lb winch and I'm also waiting on a 14 inch light bar.
One more saterday and the bumper fab will be done then its off to sandblasting and we might monster liner it black.

Like the bumper man, can't wait to see it painted up and on. I chopped mine and even cut out the top on my jeep, I didn't think about the fact I may need to metal there, but I've seen no ill effects so far.

Im pleased with my Smitty Built winch. Pretty cheap and seems to work great. Mine even survived a 45MPH car accident when I Tboned another car

Yeah we got to test it out the other day. Pulled a half ton truck out on 33s buried in sand.

Finished!! I like the monterliner alot. I ended cuting even more metal off the front of the unibody. Will be more pics to come
The holes in the bumper are there to lift with a high lift jack
