Side piece I cut out with a torch at my uncles. Took it home and shaped them with the grinder.

What I did here was cut, heat, bend, and weld to give me more room on my corner pices.

Then started to heat and bend those side pices. I'm doing all this with a grinder except cuting the 3/16 metal. This bumper build requries alot of time and patience. But I did get alot done today.

You can cut the ends of the front x-member off completely, they don't really do much except hold up the stock plastic. Looking good so far!

you may end up needing to trim the ends of your new bumper a little bit when you are at full bump. either at straight on or at full lock.

it also wouldn't hurt to trim more off the sheet metal that is part of the front crossmember like from the front swaybar bolt back. if that makes sense.

Okay so today I finished up the other side of the bumper/ unibody. I ended up cuting a section out of each side for Clarence and decided it was still strong enough.

I'm going to leave the front plate off till I fab up the bumper mounts for ease of accsess. I had to stop today since I don't have a torch so ima have a buddy take my traced 3/16 plate and cut out the mounts at his work.
