the tow group stuff means that the ZJ is set up for towing (partial wire harness, HD radiator, 3.73:1 gears, maybe even tranny cooler...) all the dealer had to do was bolt on a hitch and clip on the last bit of wire harness (plugs)

The axles are what they are, standard the D44a is slightly better than the D35c but those 2 are the only factory choices. all ZJs have the D30 up front.

As for the recall "#B02 FLOOR SHIFTER SECONDARY DETENT SYSTEM" do it, its free and might prevent an accident (like it popping out of park and rolling out on the street or hitting someone).

thanks man for all the info. Yea i have a tranny cooler....... and that light bulb no one could tell me what the replacement was. Thanks again

Speaking of light bulbs no one knows about, try finding a 1295(front turn signal) at Murrays or Autozone. Sheesh, you'd think i was asking for blinker fluid. One place told me to go to the dealership and the other one wanted me to bring in the old bulb so he could try to match it with a similar one...amazing. Had to order it from mechanics supply, took 2 days.

Also what was the site or email address to get the build sheet? What do i need besides the VIN?
