There is no exhaust gaskets on the 5.2L from the factory. I've pulled my manifolds easily with the motor installed. I specialize in magnums though...

If you can't find them, I'd say they are hard to get to

I was referring to highway obviously. city im lucky to get 15. And yes, I drove from LA to San Diego and back at least twice a month for the past year. 20-24 mpg is going 60-65. A few times going 55-60 and drafting behind a 18 wheeler or RV i got 26. took a lot of patience but driving along the ocean on the 5 made it easier. Maybe its my 2wd, who knows. but im also 3" lifted with 31's.

For the record, I wish I had the V8.

Dean

EDIT: I really think the 4.0's mpg is underrated on this forum, maybe due to mods causing it to be a dog. A lot of times, i do drive with a heavy foot because it lacks that power. but when i try hard to relax and cruise down the freeway, the mpg really isnt that bad. add passengers and gear, and it really effects it though.

4.0 has hit 26mpg before next week. I stand corrected.

Next week: 4.0 "greenest of the ZJ's"

I can barely squeak in at 21mpg with a 2.5 and a 5 speed, no 4.0 ever returned 26mpg.

If I wanted mpgs I'd drive a ****ty little honda.

Oh wait I do that, cause the jeep is for when I want actual POWER.

Same here but I'm through edelbrock headers, a thrush welded and a test pipe.
