broke crank sensor

as you may have read in some of my other posts, im in the middle of changing the motor in my grand cherokee. it has the 5.2 engine. i guess while i was separating the motor from the transmission i must have broke the sensor. i didnt realize it was there to be honest with you. my question is can i replace this after i install the motor, or do they have to be separated to install. just by looking at it, i would say i can put it in after i put the motor and transmission back together.

w/o the intake off , it`s SOOOOO much easier to access , but can be installed either way and should be installed after the trans and motor have been connected to prevent further breaking another .
Are you planning on installing with the intake on or off ?

i will install with the intake off. at first i was going to put the intake back on the motor before i reinstalled the engine. is it going to be a pain in the butt to torque the intake, with the motor installed?

a little , but not bad . I installed mine w/o the intake also , it made things easier , the cps was one of them .

I should be able to post a pic now , but still can`t , maybe this 51st post will do it , lol
