Brake Rattling

I recently replaced my pads and rotors on the front end. Since then I've noticed that the brakes rattle when driving. When I apply the brakes, the rattling goes away. I noticed in my Chilton that you're supposed to install and "anti-rattle" clip as part of the brake job process. There wasn't one on there before however, and my new pads didn't come with one?

Any ideas?

So I bought the anti-rattle pin now, but I cannot figure out how to install it. Anyone else know? Diagrams please.

Thanks for posting that diagram. The anti-rattle spring in the diagram looks nothing like the one I got from AutoZone. Hmmm. Where did this diagram come from? Does the anti-rattle clip on your Jeep look like the one in the diagram?

My Jeep is at my mechanics today to replace the catalytic converter. I asked him to look at the brakes as well. We'll see what he says.

Thanks again.

I got it from Alldata. I meant to include a note that it is for a 96, which I have, and may or may not apply to your Jeep.
