Bout to buy a 5.9.Common things to look out for?

Found a stone white niner for a $1000 and need to know what common problems would I run into?It has 189xxx miles and runs great.

The usual ZJ stuff. I don't think there many problems that are specific to niners other than the efan. Check out my build thread if you want to see a high mileage niner with every problem in the book haha.

On the Jeep:Hot intake, 52mm TB, Summit 8mm wires, catch can, 703s, insulated fuel rails, indexed Champions, Bilstein 4600s, Eibach lowering springs, Moog SS, Ironman mounts, Lotek 2GP, lots of gauges, sparkly paint.
In the garage: M1 4bbl
In the works: Addco/Hellwig sway bars, nitrous, full polly bushings, full exhaust, data logging, billet UD pulleys

You sure did alot to your demon and to me it's worth it.I hope I can restore mine with it needing climate control panel,dash pieces,and a good cleaning inside and out.

You might want to check out thespeedfreaks.net. It's a forum that's pretty much 5.9 specific. Lots of good information there. Lots of people that know way more than me, too.

Make sure you got oil pressure when engines warmed up at idle haha. I bought mine and didn't notice this issue until I got to my house! Replaced pump and same issue verified with mech gauge but its not a common problem just make sure to check everything because you don't know how the PO maintained it. But I have no problem yankin the engine for a rebuild
