I have TJ 4.5 springs on mine , yields 3.5" with the V8 . I`d double check with IRO to be sure , alot of Jeep parts are interchangable , springs being one . XJ & ZJ being so close in design I`d think they would give a 1/2'" more with the 4.0 , and lift you 4 inches on the frt . I`ll be curious to know if IRO made a mistake or if theses are indeed the springs they use in the kit . double check for sure before installing , unless someone chimes in and says this is the norm

I believe XJ 4.5" springs yields 3.5" for the ZJ. Double check with IRO though.

I'm pretty sure IRO uses another Jeep model's (TJ?) rear springs for the springs in their 3" IRO WJ kit. So reading what you posted don't overly surprise or concern me. But like mentioned above, it doesn't hurt to check.
