Bosch fuel pump interchangeable with Airtex fuel Assembly??

My Airtex fuel pump went out. Looking to replace with a Bosch pump. Just curious if anyone has swapped a Bosch pump with and Airtex fuel assembly module without any issues..???

I definitely don't wann install another Airtex fuel pump but I'm hoping to salvage the Airtex fuel module itself with a better Bosch fuel pump..

Anyone??

When I had the Airtex go out that the previous owner installed, nothing was interchangeable with other brands. Check valve, and regulator were not even serviceable\ replaceable, i even think the filter was part of the assembly. As far as I know the only fix is more Airtex parts or a new module assembly.

That's what I'm afraid of.. Looking at pics of the Bosch pump seems to a bit different.. I was about to head out and buy a Bosch pump but thought I would get some feedback first..

Which one of your Jeeps and engine? Don't believe I'd even mess with the Airtex because haven't heard the best of things about them. Besides if you're looking for a complete Bosch fuel pump assembly for your 97 it's selling for only $120 on ebay w/free shipping. I know nothing about this vendor but they have a real good rating. Good luck.

Brotha man, I'm not trying to bad mouth anyone/anything personally. I just installed this Airtex pump a couple years ago if that.. I didn't know anything negative on these units till my Airtex failed on me this week. This time I just prefer to spend my money and time on a pump/part that I'm not going to be switching out again in a couple years again..
