Bolt out?

While attempting to take off front ds this evening I rounded off the heads of two of the 4 bolts that attach the ds to the tc. The other 2 bolts came out easily. I was told that Lisle Bolt Out kit would be the way to go in getting these bolts out. Anybody used this or anything like it? I used 8mm socket on the 4 bolts on the front end of the shaft and 8mm box open end wrench on the bolts on the rear of the shaft. The guy at advance auto told me that the bolts were 5/16". Is he right and is that why they rounded off?

This is the set I got, and they work great, you can get them at sears. Do a search for Bolt out to find them

I had 4 temperature senders in a row die on me in my XJ, and I rounded them off every time. Those bolt-outs saved my but.

Use the smallest one that will fit, and hammer it on good.

Not sure those are going to be much use, If its like mine theres no room for a socket and wrench to turn it.

I grinded down a 8mm socket so it would fit and it only had enough to loosen it.
