block finished for coffee table!

thanks for all your imput guys !
ok we ended up doing an acid, and then pressure wash, its a 327 out of a 68 GM 1/2 ton truck, im going to be doing a 4.0L in the future but my buddy wanted it paited so heres what i did

we started by getting off all the rust we could with some wire wheels and drills, by the look of it, it was outside for a long time

just after the acid wash

taped off for the black top

tapped off did the chevy orange

tapped off and did the rest in silver and yes im going to go back and get the paint out of the cylinders

finished!!

Maybe I'm being dumb, but i don't see how that looks like a coffee table? It looks like a block on a stand like you'd see at pepboys or something.

Am I missing something?

Wow! I love that. Now if I just had more than 3 square feet of floor space I'd be set. Maybe I'll make a lamp out of a piston or something. lol
