Blinking message center

My 1995 GCL had an ac problem (blower resistor) I have fixed that and the ac works fine. Know after unhooking the battery to work on the jeep, my message board is just blinking constantly, I have tried to set the date and time using the select button for 2 seconds and the blinking continues. Any ideas, Thanks Bill joneskbm@cox.net

Unhooked

I had the battery unhooked several times in the last week woking on the ac system. When I put the center dash trim back together I noticed the message center blinking when I was driving to work this morning. I tried to reset the message center by holding the select button for 2 seconds and according to the owners manual you can reset the time and date, but it just keeps blinking the time and date on and off.

Stop the blinking

I fixed the clock and date settings on the GCL this morning. I pushed the right button to reset these numbers, so I thank those who offered info.
