the billionth zj electrical problem thread

turned on the heat and the ac came on ,then the blower motor quit came back on quit

its doing this going over bumps while still and if i turn the dial up past half way

any advice on how to fix it ?

Everytime i turn my climate control on (i have the auto) the a/c light turns on. Seems normal to me.

On the other issue...sounds like you have a connection problem somewhere within the climate control center. My advice is to get a junkyard one and see if if does the same thing.

Oh and your a/c will cycle on and off with the defrost is on. This is a automatic function to humidify the defrosting air.

the a/c thing is happening on front and feet only , i will try to get to the yard sometime soon and get an auto unit

hope its a 10 dollar part

This is a common cause for blower problems...

Check the connectors on the front of the heater box for pin damage from overheating.
There are usually visual "burny marks and meltyness" (author: ratmonkey)

Looks something like this...





Some cut the connectors out and splice all the wires together.
Or just bypass the connector with damaged wires spliced together.
