Biggest tire on stock niner wheels?

I'm lookin at either 285 R75's or 305 r70's and i plan on adding 1.5 wheel spacers to help clear. Would those be to tall or wide for the stock wheels?

The 285's might fit, but I would think it would be a very tight fit in the wheel well....My guess, is that with just 1.5 inch lift, 31's would be as big as I would go, but I think a wider rim would work better...

Should be doable, both of those are about a 33, the 305 will be around 10" tread width, and the 285 around 9". Pretty sure the 5.9 wheels are 8" wide? If so those both fall into acceptable range. As far as the rubbing i honestly have no idea, but if it was a problem I would recommend using a modified WJ control arm as they are bent and clear big tires better, never been a fan of wheel spacers myself.

WDUP 16X7.0 Aluminum Wheels

9er wheels are 7" wide. 305/70 is too wide IMO. Your sidewalls will bulge and get hot and it will handle like an 89 Brougham D' Elegance.

what is your current b/s?

Niner wheels are.. 16x7 if I remember right? cant think of the b/s. There is a charts in the FAQ's section that might help.

I wouldn't go past a 11.5" wide tire on a 7" rim. I did on my 95 without issue but I was dumber then.

I've seen people on here run 33 12.50's on stock 15x7 rims and not have any issues and also 33 13.50 on 15x8's and no issues? I plan to only run em on the stock rims till i can pick up somethin a bit wider down the road.

Ok well why ask the question then? Just run whatever tires you want.
