When I flopped my ZJ in Hollister I could still open and close my rear hatch while she was on her side, so the cage does stiffen up the unibody. Not to mention that it makes the ZJ feel like its a pickup truck.
Sounds stout. I started thinking about a cage the other day. I dont wheel with other jeeps too much. Actually 75% of the time its with my buddies and their quads. I try and go up the stuff theyre getting over and it gets tippy. I end up pushing my approach angle more and more and I constantly have them harping on me about how Im gonna roll it one of these days. ZJ's are cheap to replace but having a cage to stiffen things up could prove helpful as some extra insurance.

Looking great! Obivous to me that you are tackling alot of things, not just slamming big tires under there and calling it done. My hats off to you!
Awesome! Are you going to be wheeling in a few months? Waiting for the picks!

Im about 45 min out of Gilroy, in the Altamont. That white WJ was just sold to a guy that I know in Santa Rosa! Small world.

ahh I see, when I was a kid we use to go to a water park in Manteca (east of you). Plus I traveled all over that area playing Pop Warner Football.

Started to hack the driver rear quarter panels and lights…

Check these out ….

D60 Soild Axle Cover…

14bolt cover…

Installed covers…

All brakes are installed and bled. Front Line lock is installed as well.

I had some professional help today as well…

Also had a BTF battery box show up… need more time for that install.
