hey guys this is my first post here iv just been looking around and reading some things but i have a question
i need new shocks so i thought i might as well just lift it while im at it. I will not really be wheeling mostly just the beach in the summer and the snow in the winter and i drive 40 miles to school everyday on the expressway
i was looking at some bb's but i think i want new spring. i was reading good things about the iro 3in so thats probably what ill go with
so my main question is which shocks would give me the best ride and how is the ride quality is with the iro lift since i drive so much on the expressway i want it to be comfortable.
iv heard that black diamonds have a great ride and thats why im leaning towards. i just wanted so other opinions

MX6's are nice shocks...they're pricey tho. I wish I had the money with the deal kolak has going I'd be all over them. I have RE monotubes on mine but it does ride a little rough, most likely due to the spacers though and the shocks are a few years old.
i have a 04 limited needing new shocks i had a old 95 xj stock and put billstien on was a decent ride after but people said i should have put ranchero on it cost is a issue of course but i always buy top dollar and with research now with my new 04 limited im hitting 75k miles and maybe needing shocks it squeaks and sounds as if im hauling a light duty emply trailer (we live on dirt roads and roads that are very bad in winter even if paved with frost heaves) im thinking i can last to 100k miles thats when i plan on doing a full upgrade budgeted at 1500 dollars ( it would be shocks joints bearings battery plugs oil brakes and the like) i also feel the tire you buy has a added bonus to how the jeep handles i had on my old jeep good year fortera now i got forteras on the new jeep as well and you notice a smoother quiter ride but decent traction (i can take a sharp turn that says cautioned 25mph at 40 and still have more flex to up to 45 tho im not testing that lol,)
