BB update

So I went at it today and basically tried to do it with no instructions, and going by what i read on the forums, well didnt go so hot. Finally went to kor.com and got the write up and had to re do a lot of steps and as i got everything off, shocks, sway bar link, and the coil clip, the spring compressors snapped. So me and my dad tried it 4 more times and finally had a pipe wrench help out and got one side in. Tomorrow gonna do the driver side. How hard are the rears?

Think about all the tricks you learned today, they'll all make the rear go faster. Likewise after you play with your suspension a few more times you'll be a pro

they're easy!

when i installed mine, honestly i spent just as much time figuring out the strangely worded directions and trying to make out the pictures.

once i knew to put the spacers on the top, and once i figured out that half of the directions were just taking about the rear bumpstops THAT DIDNT NEED DIRECTIONS ANYWAY i was done in a few hours and passed out when the beer was gone.

dont know about a ZJ, but i didnt need spring compressors with my WJ. my front axle was off at the time because i had to replace literally everything on the front end except for 2 CA bushings. i remember bolting up 1 CA on each side, then jacked up both sides or something to connect the steering etc.

for the rear, i took the wheels off and jacked up the OPPOSITE side that i was working on and the spring fell right out. i might have unbolted a CA or two to fit the longer springs and spacers on.

Kpax had a nasty time with a spring compressor. It cost him a couple of stitches in the forehead.

i have a similar story... when i was putting on my Addco rear sway bar in February, the wrench slipped, my hair became soaked with blood on top of PB blaster, and i needed stitches in my forehead.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that he didn't post here in a while?

I didn't have the a spring compressor fail.....I had a hilift slide off a slider while I was underneath the jeep. Luckily, it missed my knee by a rrubio and just dented my rear passenger door. BTW, I'd be dead if I had not placed a jackstand under the slider to prevent it from falling.
