Battery cables for zj????

ok ....well got a new starter and was going to get the battery cables....and the stealership wants 240 bucks for them...

..not sure why....i was trying to get the measurements from them...but the a**hole guy didnt want to give them to me....so...my question...anyone know the length of the 2 cables???? so i can go get them at auto zone or make my own...cause i sure aint paying 200+ for 2 little cables.

Amazing... RockAuto has them on their web site... $8.09 for the negative cable and $9.75 for the positive one. That's for the '96 4.0L... I replaced the one's in my daughter's ZJ last year.

Use a coat hanger and trace the routing of the cable.
I just replaced them in my dad's XJ and that is how I measured them.

BTW, the negative cable I replaced in my Dad's XJ was only $6.00 at advance auto.
