Automatic Transmission Fluid Capacity?

Approximately how much automatic transmission fluid is required for a complete transmission flush for a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.0L straight six?

I looked in my manual and I can not find the amount.

While on the topic, what do you all use for the fluid? I'm planning to purchase AMSOIL.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Well, I found the following website via another post in the forum: http://www.wjjeeps.com/service/transmission.htm

Your transmission is the 42RE, and the 9.5 - 10 qts overhaul amount is at least what you will need. It's your transmision and you can put whatever you want into it, but only AFT+4 (it is now available from makers other than Mopar and cheaper) is what I would use.

And don't do a power flush. Just let it circulate.
