guys i'm sorry, misunderstanding, i was saying that the terminator one is stronger than a "normal" ax-15.

all i'm saying is when i'll break the 44re i put an ax 15 terminator

It is a cool idea to have a 5 spd behind a 318 but if you had the 44RE done by a shop that builds racing transmissions it would be more than strong enough. People forget or never knew that the old school Torqflites properly modified were strong enough to live behind 426 Hemis in Chrysler's super stock Dodges and Plymouths.
