I picked up the module I'll install it tonight and get back to you guys to let you know if it worked.

Awesome! The nice thing about all the modules is that the junkyard folks often don't know what the heck they're for and usually sell them pretty cheap.

IT'S ALIVE lol. So im guessing the sensor goes through the hole in the in the defrost vent from the outside in? because on mine the defrost vent had a plug and i realized after i had the dash pad and everything else together the sensor did not clip in through the bottom of the defrost vent....... or how does it sit in there?

It clips in to the bottom of the defroster grille under the small round hole by pushing and turning it into the "receptacle".

Hmm I tried that and it's like it's too big or something but mind you i was cold and when I got to that point it was late so I'll try again today when I get a minute.

ok so i tried again and it turns out i was trying to put it in the wrong one lol, so whats the other one for its down towards the passenger side more and it has a twist off plug? ill go take a pic.

That one is for the solar sensor. I honestly haven't read yet what exactly that's for but I can tonight since I brought my FSM with me.

I saw one of those at the junkyard and considered pulling it just in case I wanted it. It plugs un to a red plug, but I didn't see the wiring right away in my Laredo.

It looked a lot like the remote sensor for the alarm. Same round red dome shape.

Per the FSM it is a photo diode that responds to light intensity and sends a signal to the ATC controller.
