ATF-4 and Synthetic mixed?

So I had my tranny flushed with fresh ATF-4 last week. I want to change my filter now and I know I will loose fluid during it. What I am wondering is can I fill it with the Lucas synthetic and just have a mix or do I have to figure out how to get it all out and change it all at once.

Additives are not recommended. Only atf+4, which is a synthetic stock fluid.
