theres this black cylinder thing that looks like a butane tank. anyways, its condensing and theres water collecting on the outside like a cold beer can. the thing is on the left side with two metal tubes connection to it. if you have a picture, i can point it out.
You mean the charcoal canister? Is it down front on the driver's side?

It's your A/C condensor. Nothing to worry about. It's supposed to do that.
You know when people see a cat's litter box, they
always say, "Oh have you got a cat?" Just once I
wanted to say, "Nope. It's for company. Help
yourself. Make yourself comfy. Take your time."
It's not your 'condenser' - that's the name for the extra coils in front of the radiator - it's the receiver/drier for the AC unit and it has moisture condensing on it all the time when the AC is on. The moisture inside the vehicle is probably caused by a plugged up drain tube from your evap. box. If you look down on the firewall on the passenger side, you'll see what looks like a small pipe sticking out of the firewall - this is the drain. clean it out and you should be ok.
