anyone got mud flaps on ZJ?

tossing around the idea of getting some mopar logo mud flaps for my ZJ. not that it needs them I just thought it would be different. Anyone else running flaps on their ZJ?

Yes. Some people like them, some people tell me they look like crap. I don't care either way... they're not doing any harm by being on there, then again they really don't stop the mud very much.

Kind of a disadvantage on the highway when you have a tailgater because you can't scoot to the shoulder and toss rocks back.

Depending on how much lift you have, they're required in California. Don't know about other states though... I personally don't believe in them.

I have them from the factory they don't say mopar on them so I guess it was just an option. I like the look of them on. Without them the jeep looks silly to me. And mine hold back a lot of road spray and mud. The only thing is I can here them catch on stuff on a trail sometimes so I'm always checking if I have all 4 when I leave a trail.

On my previous ZJ (97 Limited in white) it had factory ones with "Jeep" embossed in them.

It also had a MOPAR bug deflector on the hood. The only thing missing was a set of step rails. Made the Jeep look like something a grandfather would drive.

As an eight time Grandfather and two time Great Grand I thank you!!

I had mine put on with the rear spoiler when I got it (used) from the dealer. I don't like road spray etc. on my rear window. Seems to help some, mostly at 70 MPH. Also came with dealer installed running boards. Which I don't like but my height impaired wife does.

BTW mine said "JEEP" in some kind of fake chrome lettering that came off after 3 years, you can still see the molded impressions of where the letters should be.
