Another Niner with only 84,000 miles on CL!!!

Hey all...thought some people may be interested in this:
http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/3805934839.html
$5500 for a 9er with only 84,000 miles!!! I'd grab it in a heartbeat..if I didnt already have one!
I have NO affiliation with the poster whatsoever. Just thought people would be interested in such a low mileage 9er! Wish I waited a bit to get mine...I got mine with 134,000 miles for $4000

Don't feel bad I paid 4500 at 127. ZJ's are more expensive in Vegas. This was the only 5.9 for sale. Sometimes I wish I never saw it so I could have gone with the original plan and gotten a cheaper 5.2 for a couple grand that I wouldn't feel bad about beating up.

Yeah...mine was the only 5.9L in the area as well, and well taken care of, so I pulled the trigger.
These 9er's are such a great Jeep...my favorite by FAR out of all 5 I have owned (2WJ's, 2XJ's)!
Hope someone on here grabs this one up...its a great find!

They look like they have been rotated from the rear. The wear is across the tire. When My VC was bad it wore the tires around the outside edge of the front much more and the rest of the tire had decent tread. Looks like he has done some burn outs.

Could be right...or.. he knew he was going to sell it, so didn't put the money into tires.
When I bought mine...it had worn tires...actually 2 different types of tires on (same size thank God)...and my VC was just fine at 134,000 miles.

He was asking a lot more a month ago when I was searching for mine. I think $6600 or around there.

Seven years ago, I bought a clean 5.9 for $6000. I thought I had made a swinging deal. After I got it home and drove it awhile, I found enough things that needed fixing, some serious, that I sold it and bought a WJ to build. The true Gems are far and few between.

I found my 1997 ZJ on CL. The guy wanted 1800, I had 1200, he wouldn't go for it, so I gave him my 1200 to hold it and gave him the rest two weeks later. I really wasn't too concerned with what was wrong with it because it's a Jeep and I expect to have a good bit to do on a Jeep that is 16 years old, but hey, I really enjoy the projects and using the forum. Maybe I just got lucky, but I really found no major issues. My biggest problems have been going through and connecting everything the PO left disconnected, lol.
