Annoying Front axle clatter

Since I installed Aussie lockers a few years ago my front axle always clatters very badly when I turn a slow sharp left and, while not as bad, also on sharp right turns. I have yet to figure this out. Sounds like the front axle shafts are gonna break apart and spit everything out on the ground.

It is much worse with the front drive shaft installed and a good bit less noisy when the drive shaft is out.

My only thought is to recheck the tolerances on the locker itself but I have been putting this off as I plan to swap in a high pinion D30 soon. . . . I hope.

UPDATE:

This clatter is due to loose/worn pinion bearings. Gonna replace that soon.
