Alarm and no remote

My kid lost the key and remote to my ZJ. I have the valet key and that is it. Is there a way to crank and drive it without the alarm system going off? I have ordered some new remotes off Ebay but I need to be able to drive it to the dealership for programing.

You do know what you are asking, right?

Yes , the mileage is stored in the PCM , it's only available through a DRB scan, it is irrelevant to 99% of jeepers
What about the other 1%?

I bought mine without a remote. I had to stick the key in the rear hatch and unlock it to turn the alarm off. The alarm will set everytime u use the electronic switch to lock the doors. If u manually lock it it wont set the alarm.

You're asking for information on how to steal a car. Sure you might not use the information in that sense, But what about everyone else that reads this if the information is given?

Your valet key will unlock the doors and if everything is working as it should this will disarm the alarm. As for your ignition you can have a locksmith make you a key using your valet key. The locksmith might make 3 or 4 keys one of which will work the ignition. Option 2 is to get the key code for your jeep from the dealer. Then you can have the dealer or a locksmith make you a key using the key code.

Hope this helps.

OK, I can assure you that I own it.... I would not think that ZJs would be sought after by a car thief since they are all at least 15 years old but you never know I guess.
