Air Intakes

I have a 4.0 I6 WJ not sure what intake to get tho. Looking between K&N GENERATION II FUEL INJECTION PERFORMANCE KIT which costs $275.99 and

Airaid PERFORMANCE INTAKE SYSTEM WITH SYNTHAFLOW FILTER which costs $197.99

K&N says Real world tests on a Grand Cherokee produced consistent 26.3 hp gains at rear wheels

Airaid says up to 18hp

there both plastic tubes with filters on the end.... one isnt going to produce more horsepower than the other no matter what there dyno results say

with that being said... get whichever one you like the look of better... and get whichever one does not have an oiled filter ( which means not the K&N ) i dont know what kind of filter the airraid uses

the airaid doesn't come with the tube so once you buy that they are at the same price. I think airaid is a better filter at least it did better in the write ups for the diesels that i read. The best was AFE. I don't think they build a jeep filter though.

Or try a search because this question has been asked a lot. Its the first thing you should do before you post and the reason you probably don't have a lot of replies is because they are tired of typing out the same thing all the time.

Definatly go with the more expensive one, itll improve your gas mileage by about 30%. though 250$ sounds kind of cheap look for something thats more money, you get what you pay for the more the cost the more you save a i swear. I put on 2 k&n's and improved my mileage 50%

Really 50%, I find that hard to believe because that means if you were getting 16mpg before the install then you were getting 24mpg after. Don't really believe that.

I have the K&N FIPK and I saw some improve but don't expect a miracle. I also switched out the K&N Filter with a Amsoil non-oiled filter.

you are all wrong...50% savings with 2 K n N's isn't what you get...you forgot that the stickers that come with them add some hp and saves in gas as well.

Seriously now....what you need to get is a.............ummmmmmmmmmmmm. Ahh hell...I just forgot...nevermind.
