Air Conditioning and vacum seal

I took out my battery container and looked at my AC lines, and the two connectors. One was loose and was I took off the loose one adn was wondering if htat is how they are supposed to be? Well any help/info would be helpful.

If you're talking about the vacuum lines that run under the battery tray yes they should be rigid line. Most of the vacuum lines are that rigid line and it ends up cracking after several years. It needs to be connected to that reservoir under the tray or your cruise control and climate control won't work properly.
