air cond. only blowing threw ceenter vents

My air only blows threw center vents. the side vents driver and pass. side don't get very good air flow,it's hot today how do I fix it.Is this normal.

sounds like your blend doors took a crap, and it is expensive to fix.

It's expensive to fix if you take it to the dealer or your neighborhood mechanic. You can fix it yourself cheap with the HeaterTreater. Search on "heatertreater" on this forum for more information, or check out the listing on Ebay at http://stores.ebay.com/Allen-Automotive-Accessories The ebay listing gives instructions for diagnosis and fix for the blend door problem (and the re-circ door problem). It works.

i have the same problem and still have warranty and thay say it is not coverd under warranty i think its a load of crap and am going to check other dealers

Blend door failure only affects the air temperature and re-circulation mode, not the air flow or mode - vent, floor, defrost etc.
Is the fan blowing at the right speed?

The Mode Control Circuit could be the problem if the flow will not change from the dash vents.

ok yea i read that he said it was hot today as in the temperature coming from his vents...my mistake

I have the SAME EXACT problem on our 02...somebody must have figured this out by now...help!

i talked to a friend of mine at a dealer and chrylser knows about the problem and is not!! helping ppl out even if you have warranty still . luckly we found some ladour coeds that would work

That sucks that chrysler does'nt have a TSB on this,look how many people on this forum alone has this problem.We should lobby to get this fixed on our jeeps.I know thats a joke,the big corporates help us out Ha.

there is a tsb and thay do know about it its tsb #24-001-04 but warranty
wont cover the labour but it will cover the part
