Air bag light blinking every min and stays on for 30 secs

My friends 93ZJ has just started to blink the airbag light at perfect intervals. It will come on 30 secs then go off for a 1 min. Any ideal what is causing this?

How would that cause the air bag light to come on? And yes he did and few weeks ago.

Maybe the Jeep can sense the danger of a collision because of air in the abs so it is warning you that your airbag may deploy! I will let him know that he might want to check his abs.
