AGAIN-This grinding is getting annoying

This is really starting to annoy me. I've had a couple posts for this in the past, and the problem remains, even after diagnosis and repair. It was diagnosed as a tranny solenoid pack....it wasn't that. Well, we've narrowed the grinding noise down. Its the transfer case. It does it when its cold, but its taking longer and longer to go away. I have the Quadra-Drive system with the 247 t-case. I just changed the fluid. Any ideas why its grinding, or how I can fix it?

Well my friend, you should probably start looking around salvage yards for a replacement unless you have the knowlege or a buddy who does to repair that one. Did you use only the specified lube? Jeeps are very particular about what is used in their transmissions and if you try to cut corners, you can figure on getting a lesson.
