aftermarket HU w/Infinity & NO bypass

hey guys, from what I had been reading it sounded impossible to put in an aftermarket headunit while leaving the Infinity Gold system in tact. It sounded like I would need to bypass the amp which is a pain, but you dont! I ordered my headunit from crutchfield.com and they sent me the adapter for the HU (for free) and everything works fine. I didn't have to touch the amp, just wanted to make sure everyone knew that it is actually not that hard, and my speakers sound great

I wasn't going to bypass either. But I had speaker wire shorting and sending my hu , kenwood kdc 248 u, into protect mode.had aftermarket speakers and a old amp I got from my cousin. Sounds great. And didn't spend a lot on the entire thing. Can see the rest in my build

I am running with a Pioneer HU, bought it about 3 years ago, shortly after I bought my Jeep. Ran it without by-passing the factory amp up until about 4 months ago. It sounded ok, even after replacing all the door speakers, though it was a bit tinny...
