Aftermarket hitch installation

I'm about to pick up an aftermarket hitch with a 2" receiver today from autozone, and was wondering if there is anything I need to do besides bolt it on. Are the aftermarket hitches made to lineup with the unibody?

Q-tec or the JY, the stock one bolts to the same place as the gas tank skid.

If you're going to tow with it rather than just use it for recovery or an accessory you should do something about a trans cooler.
