Advice on Intake Plenum Gasket
I have to replace my intake plenum gasket on my 98 5.9 and I was wondering if there are any tricks to doing it or if it's pretty straight forward. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

its pretty straightforward. check to make sure none of the intake bolts are broken, it is very common for the rear bolts to have the heads missing. when you get a plenum gasket make sure it is rubber type and not cork. with the plenum cover off it is a good time to clean the intake inside to get the sludge and junk out. cant think of any other tips
