i used the rust-oleum plastic gloss paint for the plastic. and first coat on the vents. then the second coat on the vent i used bedliner spray. next i want to get some lebron vents. i think that will look tits
Looks good bro. Is say the gearing depends on your mechanical ability and having the right tools. I rebuilt the rear end in my pontiac and it wasnt hard. I had to take it up to school to get a torque dial gauge to check the pinion turning torque, but that wasnt a big deal. Basically getting a good gear contact pattern and correct pinion preload((measure by the turning torque) are the two majors of a regear

Ha thanks. I'm pretty happy with it right now. Next I think I'm going to try and make air vents on the top of the genders like the yk's do with the hole saws. I think I can do it and it look pretty sexy. Then lebaron vents if I can find some. Then it will be onto engine work and new shocks.
The rear axle is moved forward because you lifted it. The way the suspension works is that when it droops (or is lifted) the control arm arcs down and forward. The higher you lift it, the farther forward it moves.
Think of how a protractor works...as you move it down it arcs to create a circle. The control arms act pretty much the same way.
To recenter it you need to get adjustable control arms, which you can make longer to center it to push the axle back to where it was.
