Addco swaybar endlink assembly
I know this isn't rocket science, but it was a pain in my butt several days ago when I was ready to install my Addco front swaybar (for the ZJ).
Anyone who buys one of these bars, and is not familiar with the right way to assemble the Addco endlinks might find this helpful.The endlinks do not come properly assembled from the factory (meaning the hardware is slid onto the bolts but not in the same order in which you need to install it). So a quick call to Addco and they walked me through the assembly. So I created a little diagram. Yeah yeah yeah, I probably could have figured it out by looking at the parts, but it's easier just to call. By the way, I added a little grease on the facing surfaces of the bushings. Note that the long bolt is barely long enough to fit the nut. You have to squeeze the assembly together by hand just enough to get the nut started. I snugged it down until about 1/4" of thread could be seen above the nut. Also note that the L-bracket has two different sized holes. The larger hole should face upward as it is for the endlink assembly. So anyway, here's the diagram:
