AC vent problem

Hi Guys;

Can you help me find a way to manualy direct the air of the ac in the center vent instead of coming out of the windsheild defrost vent.

Can anybody please also help me where is the black vacuum hose from the T on the engine side ends inside the cabin? ( this hose is the size of a pencil.)

thank you.

Welcome to JF!
Please fill in your Jeep profile info. It displays...
<--- over there.

Black vacuum feed line runs from the firewall to a quick disconnect located (and clipped in) behind the HVAC control panel...

After removing from the clip, the quick disconnect can be pulled out for access...

Manual control type HVAC defaults to defrost when vacuum is low.

Look for a vacuum leak under the hood, go both directions from the t-fitting. Could be a loose fitting, cracked hose, etc.
