AC System topped with R12
Hello folks, I recently had my AC not cooling enough. I went to the shop and the serviceman said I have to add a little more of gas. The thing is the guy added R12 and my car uses R134. Should I expect any dammage to my system.
Also the guy added some oil. Thxs for any info.

I am sure the oil was a mistake, r12 oil is incompatable with r134, otherwise I don't know.

Take it back and have him vacuum the system and recharge it. Ester and Pag oil are not compatible and neither is 12 or 134.

If he did it, he should fix it.

Thxs for your comments. The guy said he didn't mix the two oils, but as I normaly don't trust these guys I had it vacum and refilled again with the correct oil and gas.
