AC issue

Ok so its getting hot here in ri again and noticed my ac wasn't cold at all. It's not blowing out hot but its deff not cold. I've looked on this forum and didn't really find what I was looking for. I bought that can with the gauge of 134a. Turned truck on and ac on high with ac on. My truck is the 5.2 and I believe the low pressure side is right up top on passenger side has a black twist off cap. With ac on I can hear the compressor clicking on and off on off with about 5 sec. In between. I was curious if my pressure drops down to 0 then up to 40 each time compressor kicks in what is the problem? After I did all this the ac is still warm. Should I just put in the whole can I can't see this can overfilling system its not a professional ac recharge.

Your system holds around 28oz there's a sticker on the core support that tells you for sure. The compressor is cycling on low pressure so put the whole can in and see if it at least will stop the short cycling.

I literally have this same prob. When I put the can on pressure reads maxed out, then cycles on and reads 0. When I added to the line a lil bit it froze the whole line from fire wall to fender. Think I should Jus try to add the can as well?
