ac evaporator drain rear floors wet again...95 Grand Cherokee

First of all I'd like to say I'm new here and wanted to say hi.

It's a '95 GC Limited

I've read through all the previous posts and I know about the TSB on the blocked evap drain line. The jeep had this problem about 2-3 years ago and had the tsb performed and then shortly after the evap core replaced under warrany.

Having said this heres the deal. The dealer drilled 2 holes in that lower housing. There is one in the center of the round section like it was supposed to be (but no plug in it), and there was another hole about 2 inches higher and slight to the left that was pluged with silicone ( in the middle of the v-shaped section that necks down toward the bottom hole and round section). When I removed the sealant on the top hole I got about 1/2 a gallon of water out. I tried to shove a wire down that hole and get to the bottom hole but it wouldn't go, nor would a wire through the bottom hole go to the top one. The bottom hole is clear striaght through to the frame rail drain, because I can shove a foot of coathanger in and hear it clunking around in the frame rail.

Am I missing something here. I'm sure that passage is supposed to be open all the way down to the lower drain area. Oh, and even after draining that water out I can still here some water in the vents gurggling with the blower on. Not sure if that will go away with time or not

I'd post a picture, but being a noob I"m not allowed to for like 3 months.

Ok...here's the link to the picture. Help me out ou y'all

Huh, I'll have to try the higher hole. The water that's getting the rear floor wet is coming out of the rear A/C vent to the rear passenger floor (same problem I have). I drilled the lower hole and nothing came out. I guess I"ll keep drilling holes until I strike gold!
