99+ intake upgrade

Been reading up on the jy special intake upgrade. Found one guys post and he did dyno test and all. Test look great, increased hp, and increased torque. The only thing that concerned me is he claimed no increase in fuel economy. Was curious to those that have done this mod if that is the norm? Cause lets face it, its not worth all the work if your not gonna get better economy with gas at 3.30p/gal
