99 Grand Cherokee noise when kicked down at 65-70

Driving at 65-70 mph. Kick it down & it sounds like it does when on a slippery surface--the clicking of wheels. No ABS light is on. Would the 4 wheel drive be trying to kick in like it does on a slippery surface? Would the ABS try to lock out a wheel? The Jeep runs fine thru all gears & as fast as one would want to go. The problem exists only when kicked down.

I put in new rear wheeling bearings & seals. The ABS sensors were removed & reinstalled to prevent damage to them. Do they need to be reset for any reason? Everything is tight.
Open to ideas!
