98 Grand Cherokee 5.2L long crank

I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.2L that starts great on first start of the day, but when I go to start it 4 hours later for lunch it is 3-4 second crank before it starts. Fuel pressure is showing the required 49 so the pump seems good. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what may be causing this. I have suspected check valve, and injectors, but not sure. Would hate to drop a tank and change out a good fuel pump if I don't have to. Thanks for any help/solutions, etc.
