96zj 4.5 lift control arms; IROR vs JKS

I know JKS makes good stuff, but their price for a full set of upper and lower frt & rr adj CA's are almost twice that of IROR. Are they that much better? Seems like a lot for a set of zerk fittings. All thoughts welcome. Thank you.

JKS is a little pricey...but they also make great products and is name brand....IRO makes great products also....i have their lower control arms f&r they have worked out great..no problems....i would go with IRO if you dont want to waste alot of money and still get a good product.

I have the JKS rr adj TB and frt disco's, great quality. I just can't find a good reason yet to spend $1200 instead of $599. That's $600 toward some 33's. Thanks.

Question, do you plan on staying on short arms for a while or would you like to upgrade to long arms at some point?

If you plan to stay on SAs, go with JKS. If these are just a stepping stone to LAs, go with the cheaper ones.

The IRO arms don't pivot in the center for added flex, do they?

What's wrong with Rubicon Express arms?

I don't know much about the mechanic's, but the RE arms are not offset at the bushing or have a bent arm. My understanding is that this allows more articulation before hitting the CA axle mount. Does this make a difference? Specific to #5 ... No, I do not plan on going to long arms in the future.

I just installed RE arms on a TJ last weekend (same lowers). They are offset at the bushing, but not bent.

Not sure if the TJ CA's are the same as the zj CA's, but the zj picture on the RE website looked like the CA's were straight w/o any offset at the bushing. But again, I don't know how important this is. With out going to a limiting strap, Is it better to have the CA as the limiting factor or the shock?

RE SuperFlex adjustable arms - part# RE3715, both TJ and ZJ. The website images do look a bit straight-on, but in person, there is an obvious offset.

Fairly unlikely that you'll end up using the arms as a limiting "strap".

I don't think that the RE arms limit flex in any way. Here's a pick of my RE Superflex arms flexed enough to have a 35 below the rocker panel.

So, there aren't any binding issues.
