96 ZJ vs 01 XJ

My G/F has a 2001 Cherokee sport, It has increadable get up an go compared to my 96 ZJ. Is my ZJ that much more weighed down? Are the I6's so differant? Gearing? I am just shocked at the differance.

There are only 2 tools needed, Duct Tape and WD 40. If moves and isnt supposed to use the duct tape. If it dosn't move and is supposed to, use the WD 40!

ZJ's are heavier than xj's by a decent amount. I don't know the exact ammount but I would guess it is 500-1000 lbs. The grearing is probally also 3.55 in your zj, I don't know what the gearing in a cherokee is. The engine should be almost the same

edit: cherokee weight 3480
grand cherokee weight 3805 - probally closer to 4000 if you have a hitch and other stuff

95 ZJ, 5.2 V8,160,000 miles
